Okay, so I am going to be volunteering at this organization that is free, for kids and teens to have a place where they can be, after school, to keep them from getting into things like gangs, violence, drugs, and alcohol. THe kids there range from 6-18. I am going to be volunteering there this summer, and most of the volunteers work with the younger kids.
Since this is summer, the kids don’t have homework and academic stuff they need help with, so besides other programs the kids will participate in, they will also have a lot of free time (a game room where they play foosball, have board games, television with movies and video games, toys, etc. etc., or, they can go outside and play sports) and yeah
I was wondering if anyone had any good tips for getting to know the kids at first? I know I can walk around and join in with some of the kids and their games and introduce myself and stuff, but what are some good ways I can use to get to know them and gain their appreciation or something? Some conversation starters, etc? Besides the usual What’s your favorite subject at school and stuff.
Thanks! Your help will be greatly appreciated!

This video is from the Labor Day weekend in 1986. It was the weekend that Johnny Lott intruduced his new Striker foosball table in Long Beach, California. Very impressive shots!
I mean me this kid are friends. We play foosball together and joke around and sit by eachother in lifeskills. And my friend bob. went and asked him out 4 me behind my back. and he said maybe. than he told bob to ask me out 4 him within the same 2 minutes. it was crazy!! i thought bob was kidding though….and at the same time he was going out with another girl. What should i do???

Slim/Small PS2, Not a scratch on the system.
About a month old
Comes with:
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas (we bought this new two weeks ago. It’s been played twice.)
You can just have the following games if you buy the system:
Socom 3 (but I don’t have the orinigal case.)
ATV 2 - Off road fury
PS3/PS2 USB Headset included in price (used under 10x’s).
Has one controller, ac cable, and av cable included.
My kids already have a X-box 360 and have lost interested in PS2. What would be a fair price to sell all this together for? They want to buy a Foosball/Air Hockey table with the money and are trying to get the most they can.
Thank you!!
